Editorial Wedding Shoot At Hotel Woodlands
Hotel Woodlands continues to be one of my favourite Leeds wedding venues to photograph, not only for its light-filled interiors and architectural windows, but for how beautifully it lends itself to considered, editorial styling.
For this shoot, I styled the bridal model with a very intentional modern approach. The focus was on clean lines, soft structure, and timeless details — allowing the dress and the bride herself to take centre stage. The look paired a minimalist silk gown with delicate straps alongside a sculptural corset silhouette, layered with a sheer veil to add softness and movement. Styling the dresses together on display during prep added a quiet, fashion-editorial feel to the morning — calm, curated, and visually cohesive.
A Chocolate Colour Palette
Once downstairs, the look sat perfectly within the reception space. The rich chocolate-toned table linens, flowing fabrics, and layered florals created a striking contrast against the bride’s clean ivory palette. Candlelight and neutral florals softened the tablescape, while textured glassware and refined place settings elevated the overall feel. Everything worked together — modern yet romantic, editorial but timeless.
Perfect for Styling
Woodlands Hotel is a venue that truly rewards thoughtful styling. It’s ideal for couples who care about the details and want imagery that feels fashion-led, emotive, and beautifully balanced.
If you’re planning your wedding at Woodlands Hotel and love intentional styling with an editorial edge, I’d love to capture it for you.
