Holly and Ed at Cave Castle Hotel Wedding
Holly isn’t only a bride — she’s the owner of Elite Bridal. So it felt only right that her gown wasn’t chosen from a rail… it was created.
Designed in New York, the dress was couture in every sense. An off-the-shoulder silhouette with delicate lace sleeves, a sculpted bodice and the most incredible flowing train. The veil, which was edged with intricate lace, framed her perfectly adding softness to the structure.
But what made it unforgettable wasn’t just the design, it was the personal aspect. Holly and her maid of honour Kate ventured across the world to New York to create her dress and Kate hand sewed the dress for Holly.
You could feel the intention in it. The craftsmanship. The hours. The love. It wasn’t just a wedding dress, it was a collaboration between talent and friendship.
From a photography perspective, it was a dream. As someone who loves bridal fashion, this wedding was a dream wedding for me. The texture of the lace, the weight of the train pooling across the bridal suite floor, the way it moved as she stepped across the grounds . Every angle felt editorial yet completely authentic.
The morning unfolded in one of Cave Castle’s elegant rooms with tall windows, soft draping, chandelier light and that beautiful neutral palette that lets everything breathe.
Watching Holly step into her own design felt powerful. There’s something different when a bride knows every seam because she imagined it first. The final adjustments, the smoothing of fabric, the quiet anticipation. It felt intimate and intentional and brought a whole new meaning to the phrase 'this dress was meant for you'.
Holly’s look brought modern couture energy into the historic setting. A clean, confident silhouette paired with dramatic lace detailing. The contrast was perfection.
Holly and Ed's portraits felt effortless. Relaxed but elevated. Romantic without trying too hard. Ed’s navy suit and soft white florals complemented the gown beautifully, allowing Holly’s design to take centre stage.
